🇧🇷 Hélio da Silva had a dream - to transform wasteland in the centre of São Paulo into a park.🌳🌳🌳
Over 20 years he’s planted 40,000 trees from 160 different species and his small project, Tiquatira Park, has become one of the largest in the city.
It's now an island of tranquillity in one of the most populated regions of São Paulo, it’s also helping the city deal with increasingly frequent heat waves, related to climate change.
